Capital Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with domestic carrier, Africa World Airlines (AWA) that will facilitate the sale of the airline’s tickets through all the branches of the indigenous bank.
Travelers to Accra, Kumasi Tamale, Takoradi and Lagos in Nigeria now have the opportunity to book their flights, purchase and receive their tickets at any of the 18 branches of the bank in seven regions of Ghana with ease.
The partnership fits into the bank’s strategy of becoming a stronger player in Ghana’s retail banking space.
According to the indigenous bank, it has deployed a state of the art payment system that is highly adaptable with third party systems in order to make payments for various services very simple and convenient.
Capital Bank recently signed over 16 schools including the University of Ghana and the Ghana Institute of Languages onto its school fees collection platform.

Fitzgerald Odonkor said.
The 18 branches of Capital Bank are located at its head office at Spintex, AbosseyOkai, Tesano, Newtown, Makola, Ashiaman, Osu, Dansoman, Miotso and Tema in the Greater Accra region; Kasoa , Cape Coast and Winneba in the Central region; Kumasi in the Ashanti region; Koforidua in the Eastern region; Takoradi in the Western region; Tamale in the northern region and Techiman in the BrongAhafo region.
Three new branches are expected to be roll out this year to increase the number of branch network to 21.
