The Minister of Roads and Highways, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, has assured that the Sofoline Interchange project in Kumasi is likely to finish in the next few months so it could be opened to traffic.

Alhaji Inusah Fuseini says the pace of work is commendable and contractors might wrap up sooner than expected.

“Sofoline interchange is 98% complete. What is left now is the tarring works on the underground passage ways and some landscaping activities.”

The interchange forms part of a 11km project stretching from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) to Abuakwa on the Kumasi-Sunyani road.
