If you were not at the re-launch of the Bless the Mic, you did yourself a great disservice because that was the place to be on Saturday 4th July 2015.

The event was held at the Champs Car saw the rebirth of a movement which gave rise to many music talents. Trigmatic, Yaa Pono and may more.

As is the trademark of Bless the Mic, there were many stars from across the divide, talk about poetry, and music genres like rock, rap, hip hop, gospel and even hard rock. Kacey Moore, Rhyme Sonny were on hand to drop nuggets of wisdom.

Boring was the last word on the mind of participants as an array of artistes kept them on their feet with hit after hit.it was as though the whole of Accra was squeezed into the Champs bar, which was not far from the truth.

Akoo Nana, Choirmaster, Trigmatic, Panji Arnoff, Shocker, AI, DKB, the Peer Preesure Group, Mfimfim the rapper man, Haywire, Ras Bomba gave the show their all and believe me it was electrifying .

Trigmatic and Episode stole the night for the rap session and gospel new kids on the block Preacherz injected the crowd with a dose of ‘holy’ music. Even MUSIGA was there in the form of Daddy Bosco (I guess president Obour was in training) to endorse the event.

The next event is on the 25th at Champs Bar inside the Paloma Hotel so if you who missed out on the relaunch, don’t fret .You have a second opportunity, just don’t blow it up please.
