The U-15 side of the National Sports College’s Soccer Academy will take part in the maiden edition of the national U-15 Championship organized by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The Championship which was launched officially at the GFA on Monday commences a four year agenda of youth development system.

In all, sixteen teams will take part in the competition nationwide on regional basis in two zones.

Playing in the Southern zone, the Winneba Academy will compete with Greater Accra A, Greater Accra B, Central, Western, Eastern, Volta, and Unistar Academy.

The Northern zone will be made up of teams from Ashanti A and B, Brong Ahafo A and B, Upper East, Upper West, Northern and Utrecht Academy.

Winneba Academy plays away with Eastern in Koforidua on match day one.

The tournament starts on 2nd October.
