A thief has been busted by police hiding in a dishwasher.
The crafty attempt involved a man, 30, from Glogow in southwestern Poland.
He was reportedly wanted by police over the suspected theft of 15,000 PLN (£3,100) worth of plants.
However, he did not respond to calls to open the door of the property, Gazeta Lubuska reported.
He jumped from the second floor property to a lower floor and barricaded himself in the dishwasher, the website said.
In the video, Glogow Police are filming in a home and enter a dark kitchen.
A flash light shines on the cupboards before settling on the dishwasher.
An officer opens the door and the man’s should can be seen poking out.
The news outlet reported the man was drunk.
The escape “route” is not uncommon among thieves.
In April, an American prison inmate fled while being treated at a hospital.
However, he was finally caught hiding in a dishwasher.
Wesley Evans was found in the appliance in an apartment at his girlfriend’s apartment complex in Texas.
