President John Mahama will start a five-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region this tomorrow.

A statement issued by the Eastern regional secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said Mr Mahama is scheduled to tour Abetifi and meet and interact with fisherfolk and later take a stop at Sempoa to meet farmers.

The Presidential candidate of the NDC will also address a mini-rally at Mpraeso Lorry Park at Nkawkaw to inaugurate the Kwahu Fodoa Community Day Senior High School, and later end his first day with a durbar in the Abuakwa North constituency, where the NDC’s Victor Smith is contesting.

On Tuesday, Mr Mahama will address a mini-rally at Ofoase-Ayirebi and then inaugurate a community senior high school at Akwatia. There will also be a mini-rally at Suhum.

Mr Mahama will visit Abuakwa South constituency on the third day, the home of his main contender Nana Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party.

The president will also call on the Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, after which a mini-rally will be called in his honour at the Kyebi Lorry Park. He will then continue to Adoagyiri-Nsawam, Akuapim North and South and then the Okere constituency, where he will wrap up with a mini-rally at Adukrom.

 Mr Mahama on the last day will take his campaign to the Eastern regional capital, Koforidua and later end his tour at Lower Manya Krobo on Friday, October 28.
