The only impossible journey is the one you never begin. – Anthony Robbins

After ten (10) inspiring episodes with great and amazing personalities, The Meet and Greet Edition of Naya’s column has finally come to a successful end.

It is a weekly column published every Friday on kasapafmonline.com and enewsgh.com and is picked by other websites and print media like Ghanaweb.com, Ghanavibes.com, LivefmGhana.com, parliamentafrica.com, The Daily Dispatch news paper, Ghananewsreports.com and also on Naya’s personal blog on medium.com. The column, hosted by Nana Yaa Asabea, aims at giving its cherished readers nothing but detailed and motivational interviews with their mentors and other top personalities worth emulating.

It first took off with a flawless interview with the director of communications for the bank of Ghana, Mr. Bernard Otabil who was more than glad to share the journey up his career path with us in the comfort of his office. Still in the line of communications we moved on to our 2nd episode with the Chairman General, Kwami Sefa Kayi who greatly inspired us by sharing the secret to his glory with us and coached us on how to be successful and professional in our chosen fields.

We then ventured into the world of banking and finance to have a tete-a-tete with the Managing director for Oak Financial services, Mr. Kwame Archine, who chronicled his journey from being a charcoal seller to becoming the Managing Director of Oak Financial services. The following week, the column hosted its first Fashion icon and only female personality in the person of Claudia Lumor, The Chief executive officer of Glitz Africa (owners of glitz magazine and organizers of glitz Africa fashion week). We later had the privilege to be ushered into the oil and gas sector by the Managing Director of Union Oil Ghana limited, Mr. Charles Obeng Mensah followed by a mind blowing car interview with Award winning Ghanaian Broadcaster Israel Laryea. We also had another interesting interview the subsequent week with Kweku Boateng Akuoko, CEO of Brommon Bespoke who changed his status from being ‘an ice water seller’ and made us understand that we can do and become anything if we put our minds to it.nice-twoWe were humbled to have Lawyer Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, NPP parliamentary candidate for Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency as our 8th guest on the column. He came on board with a political spice and changed the entire atmosphere; I must say that he was very engaging and his words inspired me throughout the duration of the interview. Paul Semeh, founder and CEO of the Street Children Empowerment Foundation was next on the Naya’s guest list. Mr. Semeh also shared the story of his painful and dramatic rise to the top based on how he manoeuvered his way into success after being a street hawker for years. To gracefully wrap up the first season of the Meet and Greet edition of the column, we were privileged to have Media and Fashion Mogul Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) who gave us a quote at the end of our beautiful interview which has never ceased to resound in our ears “In complete darkness we are all the same; it is our knowledge and wisdom that separates us.”

We are most grateful to God and our loyal readers for making it a point to be a part of this memorable journey and also to all our honorable guests for turning what was once a dream into a beautiful reality.

Sometimes what you’re looking for comes only when you’re not looking at all and to make it through the hardest journey; every tiny step counts so always make it a point keep your dreams in motion but in all, never forget the reason for your existence… GOD!

The Journey has just begun… Naya’s column: The meet and greet edition returns soon after the elections with mind blowing interviews from your favorite personalities and top business officials. However, the love and relationship section of Naya’s column continues every Thursday on kasapafmonline.com and on our personal blog on medium.com
