A lifeless body of a woman believed to have been murdered and dumped at Choribong electoral area in the Bole District of the Northern Region was found Sunday.

The name of the woman has not been given yet but she was believed to be resident and aged 27.

Police in the area investigating the matter have remained quite over the cause of the death but an assembly member said they suspected murder.

Hon. Abdul Rahmani Sulemana of choribong electoral area told Kasapa News a bag containing unspecified items and mobile phone were found untempered alongside the deceased.

Mr. Rahman said the woman was found laying supine with swollen face and reddish neck with no sign of struggles.

He therefore concluded that the deceased was murdered elsewhere and dumped at the scene.

The body has been deposited in the Bole hospital morgue.

The Bole district has recorded a number of suspicion death mainly due to activities of suspected robbers and chieftaincy divide.
