Former President, John Agyekum Kufour has cast his ballot.

At the Dzorwulu Cluster of Schools in the Ayawaso Central Constituency were jubilation from the supporters and sympathizers of the NPP when the former president of the land, John Agyekum Kufour stormed the area to cast his ballot.

Speaking with Kasapa FM’s Reporter, Simon, the Ex-President said there was no way he will vote someone he knows will not win the presidential polls apart from Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“I’ll not vote for someone who I know can’t win in this year’s election.”

Voting is ongoing in the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, during which a president and 275 Parliamentarians will be elected to govern the country for the next four years.

Voting which started at 7:00am will end at 5:00pm.

Over 15 million voters are expected to cast their ballot in the exercise which is taking place in some 29,000 polling stations across the country.
