The presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Peoples Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, says his party members are not worried that the change they were craving for went the way of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He said it was the hope of the awake family that the wind of change blows in their direction, nonetheless, once it went in favour of the NPP, they have no reservations than to wish them well.

“We campaigned on the same platform for change but it just so happened that the wind of change blowing went in the NPP’s way. So, we believe the change we were craving for is happening,” he noted.

Interacting with Nana Aba Anamoah and Kafui Dey on GHONE TV, Friday, Dr. Nduom prayed that the NPP implements some of the policies and programs they all spoke about during the electioneering campaign.

For example, he is hoping that the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition reviews the concept where Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMCEs) are appointed by the President and allow the citizenry to decide on who to govern them at the local level.
