Member of Parliament elect for Kwabre East Constituency, Ms. Francisca Oteng Mensah will become the youngest person to enter parliament when it resumes for its next session in 2017.
Francisca is the daughter of Dr Oteng Gyasi, a doctor and the owner of the Angel Group of Companies. Ms. Oteng Mensah, a 23-year old Law student of the Kwame Nkrumah University beat her contender from the NDC with more than 50,000 votes to massively win the seat.
She contested the parliamentary seat under the umbrella of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with a total votes of 70,688 as against her NDC’s Iddisah Adams who polled 15,000 votes.
