
Elected Members of Parliament (MPs) for the Seventh Parliament will on Tuesday, December 19, 2016, begin the process of starting a new life under the administration of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The 275 lawmakers are expected to be in Parliament on the said date to commence registration of their particulars as representatives of their respective constituencies.
The Clerk of Parliament, Mr. Emmanuel Anyimadu, Kasapafmonline.com understands, will lead the MPs-elect in this exercise.
The Sixth Parliament will be dissolved at midnight on Friday, January 6, 2017, to pave way for the commencement of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic on the morning of Saturday, January 7, 2016.
The Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic was inaugurated on January 7, 2013.
