The Electoral Commission(EC) has scheduled a review meeting today, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 to evaluate the just ended general elections held last week.
Today’s meeting is expected to see a post-mortem of the whole process which has been widely commended by International Observers as credible and transparent.
The EC chair prior to declaring the results announced at a Press briefing that there were reported cases of over-voting at some polling stations.
She also said its electronic transmission had been compromised forcing it to rely on manual transmission.
The ad hoc meeting to be held today will precede an Inter-Party Advisory Committee(IPAC) meeting slated for tomorrow, December 15, 2016.
