Yaw Osafo Marfo, the head of the Nana Akufo-Addo transition team has called on Ghanaians to give the team enough time to study the handing over notes well.
The former finance minister made this known while speaking to the media today during the ongoing transition process in Accra.
‘Give us some time to study with our counterparts and we will raise issues with the other side if necessary and we don’t want tarnish our image’ he said.
He explained that the team has now received 39 handing over notes from the various Ministries including the Finance Ministry.
Mr Marfo called on Ghanaians to be patient with the team in order to get enough time to study the documents to get clarity, transparency and smooth transition of power.
The Spokesperson of government’s Transition Team, Hanna Serwaa Tetteh also said all the handing over notes of the government machinery are ready except the office of the President.
