The Inspector General of Police(IGP), John Kudalor and the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Air Marshal Michael Samson-Oje, with other service Chiefs Thursday, January 5,2017 inspected preparation towards the Investiture of President-elect, Akufo-Addo at the Independence Square in Accra.
Ahead of the inaugural ceremony scheduled to come off, January 7, 2016 at the Independence Square in the capital, Accra the security and other officials have been busily working to ensure a smooth and successful event that will see President-elect Akufo-Addo sworn into office as the fifth President of the fourth republic.
In total, over 6,000 guests including foreign diplomats and other heads of state, are expected to attend the ceremony at the Black Star Square in Accra.
