Some Movie actors and actresses based in Kumasi, joined thousands of mourners at the funeral of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, the mother of Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The stars including; Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Nana Ama McBrown, Emelia Brobbey, Bill Asamoah, Akyere Bruwaa, Wayoosi and Mercy Asiedu were present at Asantehemaa’s funeral.

Others include, Kwadwo Poku Mahala, Christiana Awuni, FIPAG Executives, led by the Great Idikoko, Paul Adjei (Paul Gee), Adwoa Smart, Salinko, Koo Fori and host of Kumasi Based film producers.

The remains of the late Queen Mother is currently laying in state until Thursday for mourners to pay their last respects before her burial.

The official mourning cloth for the funeral rite is black and in accordance with customs, female who wants to file past the remains of the late Queen mother must are to do so barefooted with neither headbands nor scarves, ear rings nor bracelets.

The remains of the late Queen mother will be buried on Thursday night at the Breman Toyal Mausoleum (Ban mu) after a brief stopover at the Bantama Royal Mausoleum (Ban mu) where some traditional rites will be performed.
