Finance Minister, Seth Tekper will present a mid-year review of the 2015 Budget  and the account of government’s  expenditure for the 2015 fiscal year.

He’s also billed to present to the house a supplementary budget, and some highlights  of recent economic gains, especially the stabilization of the cedi.

Business analysts have speculated the appreciation of the cedi is likely to affect expenditure as it appreciates against the dollar and could result in substantial reduction in interest paid on foreign loans.

The review however is to afford the house an understanding of government’s financial position after the first half of the financial year and how it intends to implement its fiscal policy to boost the economy for the rest of the year.
