Three Ghanaian students picked the topmost award for excelling in their endeavours after studying in their UK.

The Alumni Awards 2017 which was held at the British Council, Acrra on Saturday, February 11, 2017, celebrated the achievements of all students for studying at the UK university.

Justice Kwasi Anokye Gyimah, a Judge at the High Court of Ghana and an Alumnus of University of Nottingham won the topmost prize for the Professional Achievement Award.

He was recognised for his exemplary leadership and achievements in the professional industry. Justice Anokye Gyimah also demonstrated the highest level of integrity and character in his career.

The Entrepreneurial Award category was won by Mr. Sesinam Dagadu, a former student of University of Warwick.

He was awarded for his activeness in initiating, contributing and innovative ideas with strong growth prospects.

Master Gameli Adzaho, who completed University of Exeter picked the topmost award for the Social Impact Award category.

The public health professional was acknowledged for his exceptional contribution and commitment to creating positive social change and improving lives.

Other nine (9) finalists who did similarly well in all three categories were rewarded for distinguishing themselves.

The Award winners and finalists are leaders in their fields who used their experience of studying at a UK university to make a positive contribution to their communities, professions and countries.

The guest of honour and Chief Operating Officer of UniBank Ghana, Dr. Kwabena Duffour Jnr., in his address, congratulated all twelve (12) FINALISTS for being proficient in their field of studies and encouraged them to consistently make positive impacts in their various communities and the country as a whole.
