Men are brought up to the world over to play fatherly roles to their wives, children and society at large.

To achieve this, every man needs to learn the basics which would become part and parcel of him and enable him later in life, to carry out his responsibilities with distinction (talk of the world’s best daddies).

You won’t believe it and I didn’t before but there are men out there who never give a pesewa to the women they love (or claim to) because those women are self-sufficient or never ask.

It’s time to stop being “chisel” and open your wallet because giving to those you love is not only a good thing, it also completes you as a man. See, real men do well with their money. They share the little they have with the people they cherish.

Chale, you don’t have to wait to be asked by your lady. It’s very wrong.

Understand this,

Some women may never ask but they will know you as not man enough. Women are hardwired to equate being a responsible man with how well you treat them financially while you are dating.

You have to study her to know when she’s in need and then you give.

Nothing will make your woman happier than knowing that you had the forethought to figure out what’s going on in her life. You just became a superman.

Well, women too must give…

This is not a one-way street, Akosua, Yaa or Adelaide.

In as much as its the responsibility of the male in the relationship to financially sponsor the female, conventional thinking I must add, a good woman must also do same on special occasions.

How long do you intend to be at the receiving end by the way?

—Get him a shirt, boxer shorts, or something personal he doesn’t like buying, taking into account his favorite color to surprise him.

—Cook his favorite meal and take it to him at his office (if you are a working woman, you can do it the night before without him knowing or very early in the morning and take it to work with you). He will not know what hit him.

—Give his room or the house a little decorative touch when he is out to work or play.

All too often, men don’t get to feel loved. They need to feel loved too. Men are just humans like you. They have feelings (which they have been trained to ignore). They have blood running through their veins and guess what, they feel what you feel when someone do such nice things for you (if not more).

Why do the little things count?

These little things go a long way to shape and mold you two into that perfect husband and wife in the future. It enriches the love you both share like money enriches a poor life. It brings on board joy and fulfillment when you finally say “I do”.

In case you never get to say I do to him or her, you still take it with you. The next person you meet will meet an updated you. Who doesn’t love a good update?
