Sports is a family of activities that involve, to varying degrees, kicking a ball with the foot to score a goal or etc.

The Planet Sports Challenge maiden edtion started with Labone Senior High school, which came off on Saturday, 18th February at the school’s premises.

Planet Sports Challenge, which is an in initiative by Twellium Industrial Company Ltd, is an interschool’s football and basketball competition which aims at unearthing the sporting talent among students of various Senior High Institutions across the country.

The Event and Marketing Executive of Twellium Industrial Company Ltd, Brenda Obenewa Asamani said,

“We belief in the promotion of sports, that’s why are we supporting these students at the second cycle level for them to exhibit their talents through sports.”

Chief Marketing Manager of the Twellium Industrial Company Ltd said his outfit plans to take this competition across the country.

“We are kicking this off with ten schools in the Greater Accra Region but the idea is to hold similar events across the country and eventually hold a grand finale sometime in the future,” he said.

Twellium Industries Ghana Ltd are the producers of Rush Energy Drink, Verna Water, Rasta Choco, Oranpico drink, Dr Malt, etc.
