Veteran Ghanaian Coach Herbert Addo is reportedly battling an ailment which has kept him inactive for some time now.

The Coach who called for time off his Coaching career after parting ways with Ghana Premier League side Inter-Allies has been under the blanket for some time now.

It is however unknown the kind of illness the former Black Stars Coach is suffering from.

Herbert Addo has managed several Clubs in the Ghana Premier League including Accra Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars where he led the Club to win the first and only domestic League title.

The Ghanaian trainer has also Coached Ghana’s U20 team as well as the local Black Stars team.

Herbert Addo had a decorative career, coaching over 20 clubs as well as national sides namely, the Black Satellites, Black Meteors and Black Stars.

Herbert Addo also remains the only coach to win the Ghana Premier League on five occasions, with four different clubs.

He won with Asante Kotoko(1988), Goldfields SC, now Ashgold, (1995 and 1996), Hearts of Oak(2002) and Aduana Stars(2010).
