Hundreds of people took part in the Kasapa 102.5 FM health walk dubbed Kasapa Power Walk 2017 today (Saturday)March 4.
The exercise which started at the car park of the Adabraka-based most formidable mass market radio in Accra and beyond, [Kasapa 102.5 FM], attracted persons from some of the city’s keep fits and sports clubs who walked through some principal streets of Accra, and ended at the Wembley Sports Complex, Kotoabi.
Participants were taken through a shake-up and aerobic session by sports instructors. Team Kasapa beat Team Friends of Kasapa 2:0 in a soccer match. Team Kasapa Ladies also beat team Big and Bold Women [BBW Fan Club] by a goal to nil.
The event also featured some notable personalities including musician Dada Hafco and Boxer cum musician Bukom Banku taking part.
Some known faces in the media such as Gatusoo, IBK, Kojo Preko Dankwa and Kwame Bee were present.
Participants some of whom came all the way from Kasoa in the Central Region in an interview with Kasapafmonline.com expressed their excitement and commended the organizers for a good job done.
Others called for the event to be held on a more regular basis instead of being done annually.
