The Electoral  Commission(EC) will move to create more polling stations ahead of the 2016 elections, Director of Finance of the Electoral Commission,Mr Joseph Kwaku Asamoah has hinted.

This is to ease pressure on the biometric verification devices, while ensuring that the election does not travel into the night.

The modalities on the new development within the electoral system is to be communicated with the political parties,Mr Asamoah disclosed at a sensitisation forum of voters on the District Level Elections (DLE) with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Community and Faith Based Organisations (FBOs) and the Media in Ho.

He stated that accessibility to voters, especially persons living with disabilities will among other things be a key consideration in the impending electoral reforms.
