President Nana Akufo Addo has re-nominated fifteen persons to the position of Municipal and District Chief Executives.

This follows their inability to secure two-thirds of the vote cast by Assembly members during their first approval process.

They include:

George Kyei Baffour – Asante Akim Central Municipal Assemby.

Abraham Mbanye    – Sene East District Assembly

Felicia Aba Hagan    – Abura/Asebu/Kwamankese District Assembly

Florence Governor   – Ayensuanor District Assembly

Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor   – Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly

Jennifer Dede Afagbedzi    –  La Nkwantanag Madina Assembly

Sarah Dugpakie Pobee        –  Ada East District Assembly

J.K Alhassan                        –   Bunkprurugu-Yunyoo District Assembly

Ella Boateng                         –  South Dayi District Assembly

Richard Collins Arku          –  North Tongu District Assembly

Andrew Teddy Ofori           –  Hohoe Municipal Assembly

Millicent Kabuki Carboo    – Biakoye District Assembly

Leonelson Adzidogah         – Akatsi South District Assembly

Emmanuel Louis Agama    – South Tongu District Assembly

Eric Muah                              – Jomoro District Assembly

The President has also nominated five persons to the positions of Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs).

They’re; Mr Musah Issah, Gushegu District Assembly, Mr Abu Mohammed, West Mamprusi, Hajia Hawa Ninchemah, Bawku Municipal, Mr Kwasi Bonzoh, Ellembele, and Ms Kate Ametefe, Adaklu District Assembly.
