A professional Ghanaian dance artist, Teddy John Adzoda a.k.a Teddyflow has been crowned as Best Dancer of the Year 2017 on the celebration of World Dance Day in Minna, Niger state, Nigeria.

Participants were drawn from Guinea, Niger, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Nigeria, Canada, Guyana, UK, Trinidad & Tobago, South Africa and Ghana.

Teddyflow was the only Ghanaian dancer who was nominated to take part in the competition.

The nominees competed in different dance categories for the best dancer to be selected. Among the various dance categories were Zulu dance (South Africa), Sacred (Gospel), Contemporary dance (Hopeful), Kuku dance (Guinea), Atinlogu dance (Nigeria).

Teddyflow who emerged the overall best dancer on World Dance Day 2017 was presented with a trophy.
