Police have arrested two armed robbers who attacked a white man in his car at American House off the East Legon road in Accra Monday afternoon while he was stuck in a traffic jam.
The armed robbers reportedly opened the back door of the victim’s car, put a gun on him from behind and bolted with $ 20,000 and ghc 58,000.
Luck however eluded them when a good samaritan who witnessed their criminal act, chased them with motorbike and succeeded in blocking them.
They were nearly lynched by the angry mob, but were saved by a police patrol team who arrived timely at the crime scene.
They are currently in the custody of East Legon.
