
The National Communication Authority (NCA) has shut down pro-opposition radio station, Montie FM over unpaid license fee.
The station was blocked from airing by the regulator after it[Montie FM] failed to heed to several caution by the NCA to pay up the license fee.
Reports say, Radio Gold, a sister radio station of Montie FM is also hugely indebted to the NCA and risk also being closed down in a month’s time, if it refuses to pay up the debt.
Both stations are owned by Network Broadcasting Company.
