Showbiz icon and TV/ radio personality, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah popularly known as KKD believes that the Ghanaian media fraternity at present time has lost its value.

The media in recent times has come under severe backlash by section of the public claiming the media has missed it focus as the Fourth Estate of the Realm.

KKD as a guest on ‘After Hours’, hosted by Mikki Osei Berko said :“I’ll be very honest with you, qualitywise isn’t as good as back then but we have to understand that once we flood the system with so many media firms, we should accept that we will loose the quality of it,” KKD told Mikki Osei Berko.

According to him, owners of these mass media are to be blamed extensively for not critically examining contents before they are aired on their channels or published.

He added that the media are also grappling with complaints of intrusion into people’s privacy, libel, slander, omissions or commissions, outrageous behaviour and unprofessional conduct.
