The Chairman of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), Rex Owusu Marfo, otherwise known as Rex Omar has said he supports Shatta Wale’s hyperactive attitude of going haywire publicly to settle scores with others who step on his toes intentionally.

Commenting on Tic Tac’s recent walking out of the studio of GHOne TV live show after the music video of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was played, the ‘Abiba’ hitmaker said Tic Tac did no wrong.

“I support Tic Tac 100% for walking out of the studio of GHOne Tv because it was a gross disrespect to his brand.”

Justifying his claim, Rex Omar said Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale would have done worse than Tic Tac if same was done to him.

Speaking with Kojo Preko Dankwa on K-Entertainment on Kasapa102.5FM, the highlife great said because of such disdain for most Ghanaian artistes, he has lot of respect for Shatta Wale for his bold decisions dealing with individuals and institutions.

“Shatta Wale would’ve done worse than what Tic Tac did. When Shatta Wale was Bandana, he sat through this industry, he realized how people don’t respect artistes and creativity in this country and Shatta decided to go the way he’s going and it has worked.

“Most people in this country think once you’re an artiste, you don’t have the voice. Someone who can sit down and create something that is not in existence. We highly disrespect artistes and respect is earned. I don’t care whatever anyone says about Shatta Wale, the gentleman has proven when you believe in yourself things work for you.” GHAMRO Chairman told Kojo Preko Dankwa.
