The mortal remains of the designer of the National Flag, Mrs. Theodosia Okoh, have been laid in state at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra.
Madam Okoh who died on April 19 at the age of 92, was given a state burial.
The event started with a burial and memorial service after which her remains were interred at the Osu Cemetery.
A thanksgiving service will also be held at the Ridge Church on Sunday, to be followed by final funeral rites.
