Nigeria’s Agriculture Minister, Akinwumi Adesina, has been elected as the new president of the African Development Bank.
The pan-African bank announced via its Twitter account after elections were held Thursday.
Adesina takes over from Donald Kaberuka. He officially starts work September 1, officials at the bank say.
