The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Amansie West District in the Ashanti region Hon. William Asante Bediako has donated an amount of five thousand Ghana cedis (GHC5000) to the Mansoman Senior High School following a fire outbreak which destroyed properties on April 16, 2017.

Fire gutted the Kitchen of Mansoman the School.

The fire destroyed properties such as four refrigerators, one popcorn machine, 120 plastic bowl’s, seven bags of rice and many others.

Abusua fm’s Osei Kwadwo reported that home economics practical equipments were also destroyed by the fire.

Hon William Asante Bediako including District Disaster and Operations officer Amansie West District Appiah -Kubi Joseph visited the school on Tuesday to make the donation.

Hon William Asante Bediako called for support for Mansoman Senior High School.

According to him, government alone cannot alleviate the plight of the school.

He said “I am therefore appealing to all, particularly corporate bodies, philanthropists and development partners to come to the aid of the school”.

The Headmaster of the school Mr Michael Manu Antwi expressed his gratitude to the DCE for his kind gesture and thanked the Atwere community members and the District Assembly for the prompt response and appealed to other well meaning Ghanaians to come to their aid to support the school.
