At least nine out of fourteen bedrooms got burnt when a building property caught fire at Tafo-Ahenbronum near the Tafo Palace and Community Center at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Monday, April 16, 2018.
Eye witnesses say the fire started around 10:00 pm midnight night and could hardly be stopped by the nearby residents and fire service personnel who rushed to the scene.
The Fire Service personnel, according to our sources, had little chances of saving the situation as there was no way for the fire tender to get to the scene.
It took more than two hours before they were able to bring the situation under control.
Residents of the house in an interview with Kasapafmonline.com could not establish the root cause of the fire outbreak.
Several properties were destroyed in the process.
