The Human Right Court will today, Monday August 31 rule on an application seeking to quash the conviction of Mahama’s Gunman.

Francis Xavier-Sosu, Human Rights Lawyer is in court to set aside the judgement of Charles Antwi that saw him convicted on a 10-year jail term.

The Attorney General has filed the motion in court to also invalidate the initial ruling of Antwi, on the grounds that the trial Judge Justice Francis Obiri erred in his judgement.

Charles Antwi has been described by many, including the Ghana Mental Health Authority as mentally deranged  and requires medical attention.
