Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has won the UEFA Europa League with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening.
Atletico Madrid clinched their third Europa League title after thrashing Olympique Marseille 3-0 in the finals at the Groupama Stadium.
French international Antoine Griezmann got his name twice on the score sheet in the 21st and 49th minute respectively before Gabi sealed their victory with his goal in the 89th minute of the game.
The Ghana international was introduced into the match in the 88th minute to replace Angel Correa.
Partey has registered three goals in his 33 appearances for Atletico Madrid this season.
