The Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority has been removed from office, Kasapafmonline.com can confirm.

The removal of the GPHA Boss, Paul Ansah comes on the heels of a rift between workers of the state company and the board chairman Peter Mac Manu.

Already, Mr. Peter Mac Manu has initiated moves to drag the GHPA Union chairman and workers to court for tainting his image following the standoff.

The Unions of the Authority recently accused the Board Chair of allowing his wife to take over ticketing of staff travels at cut-throat prices, alleging he’s been running a ‘family and friends’ administration since he became Board Chair.

Chairman of the Union, Joseph Assib who spoke on the Union’s behalf accused Mr Manu of conflict of interest.

But in a reaction to the staff allegation, Mr. Mac Manu described the various accusations as “bogus” and full of lies.

Meanwhile, the union of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority(GPHA) has confirmed being served by Lawyers of the Board Chair, Peter Mac-Manu over several accusations against the latter.
