Lead private investigative firm, Tiger Eye PI led by ace investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has filed a complaint at FIFA against the embattled President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The petition which was dispatched to the global Football governing body on Tuesday June 5, 2018 is titled “Complaint Against Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, Request for Institution of Investigation in Respect of Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi”.

This comes after Mr Nyantakyi was captured in the latest investigative piece by the renowned undercover journalist, where he was caught in influence peddling using the name of President Akufo Addo to extort monies from some supposed foreign investors. He’s been charged for fraud and is currently being investigated by the CID.

Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako who made the revelation of the action at FIFA against the GFA Boss, disclosed that Mr Nyantakyi had sought for sponsorship for the Ghana Premier League and after engaging in business transaction with the sponsors, gave them account numbers, signed MOUs with them and then later got the people to put the monies in his personal accounts, an action which is unethical.

“There are hundreds of email correspondence…hundreds… Anas has indicated to FIFA that he’ll be willing to testify in person and they’ll be given the entirety of the issues against Nyantakyi. How do you do sponsorship what’s the legal regime, what’s the ethical regime, how is sponsorship done, in which account is the monies for sponsorship lodged, is it one’s personal account or that of the Football Association. For sometime he was urging the sponsors how to go about the deal, there are hundreds of email correspondence pointing to someone’s commitment to receive sponsorship package and to lodge it somewhere else.”
