Accra Mayor Alfred Oko Vanderpuije has picked nomination forms to contest the Ablekuma South Constituency seat of the ruling National Democratic Congress.

Vanderpuije is seeking to occupy the seat, which is currently being held by the incumbent Fritz Baffour, who has served two terms, and isn’t seeking for re-election.

Ablekuma South he says, is his primary focus for now, adding delivering victory for the Party wouldn’t be a problem.

The constituents he adds, have given him their word, suggesting he is cruising home to victory on November 7, when the NDC goes to the polls to elect parliamentary candidates as well as a flagbearer for the 2016 elections.
