Former AIDS Ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has taken a positive turn on her initial decisions made clearly on Facebook to take her own life with her three children inclusive.

Joyce upon several life challenges which have been overburdening her, came to a consensus few days ago to kill her three children and commit suicide.

These decisions awakened the concerns of several reputable people in the society such as the CEO of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, Dr. Akwasi Osei, who pleaded with her to abort the harmful decision she has planned to take.

Dr. Osei after speaking to her convincingly pleaded that she goes to see a psychiatric doctor which was to see Joyce goes through a smooth phase of counselling just to help her not consider suicide anymore. The doctor after speaking to her realized what was actually wrong with her and therefore talked her through it to calm situations down.

The ‘unofficial’ spokesperson of Joyce, Nii, confirmed that, she is now stable and not ready to cause any harm to herself nor her children.

Nii also added that, Joyce was set to bag an ambassadorial deal from Nestle Ghana Limited when she decided to take her life. The deal was set to be almost complete as it was only left with her personal information to be provided to seal the deal. She however did not buy into the contract because her mindset was just to end her life and end her struggles.

Joyce Dzidzor Mensah is a former AIDS Ambassador who threatened to take her own life few days ago announcing it through her Facebook page.

“These are my three children. Today is our last day on earth, I have my last interview at 3fm this afternoon. I will then proceed to the village where my children are. Am going to kill them and kill myself.

“We are going to a place where there is no sorrow, a place where people will never call my children AIDS children, a place where I will not be judged wrongly, a place where there is no hunger.

“A place where my children will not be sacked for school fees, a place where we will not pay for accommodation. A place where no one will beat me for using their bathroom. May our souls rest in peace.” She posted on Facebook.
