A personal bodyguard of President Akufo Addo has assaulted a man during one of the tours of the President across the country.
It is unclear where the incident happened.
In a video which has gone rival, the victim dressed in white long sleeved shirt is seen suddenly emerging from the crowd approaching the President’s car to greet him, while other supporters kept cheering the president on.
But just as he inched towards the President, his bodyguard who was standing beside the vehicle stretched his right hand and punched the man sending him to the ground.
The President’s car then drove off.
The President’s bodyguard in question has been his loyal security man for several years and was seen providing security for him during his electioneering campaign for the 2016 elections.
