The ‘Rise and Build’ tour led by the 2016 Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party ended Saturday November 5, 2015 at Hohoe. Nana Addo’s central message has been forging ahead in unison for effective execution of the up-coming 2016 campaign.
At the Majestic Ville, the National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party charged the Constituency executives to arm themselves politically if they want to make an impact in the Region, which will eventually fit into the target of the Region.
“To be able to achieve your target, you must have the Political ammunition. And the Political ammunition for you is to have the Research of your Constituency, the dynamics of your constituency at your finger-tips. You must know the number of people on the register, and be able to identify each and every voter in your register and be able to identify where that voter belongs to, You must have at your finger-tips as constituency executives results of the polling station by polling station for at least two election period”
“It is for that reason that you need to identify the Pillars of support in your constituency as opined by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. The Nurses, the Doctors, the Farmers, the artisans, fisherfolks etc”
He added that, If one is not careful he/she may think that the Executives in the Region does not do any work at all, It is very difficult be an executive and working for the regions for obvious reasons. But it is also true that in some polling stations, we had one vote and some zero, meanwhile we have five polling station executives.
He encouraged and promised them of a comprehensive training from the Region through to the polling station based on the strategic thinking of the National Party.
These statements were made when he addressed the constituencies at the middle belt of the Volta Region. The Present constituencies were North and South Dayi, Ho West and Central, Kpando, Hohoe and Afadjato.
