It was a fun-packed and exciting two-day event at the Young Achievers Summit & Awards 2018. The wealth of knowledge and insight from our speakers on the theme “Assessing the Impact of Digitization on Modern Business” was undisputed.
It was a wonderful learning experience for the youth who gathered at the British Council for the two-day event. Our speakers spoke from the heart and laid bare the hard truth about the importance of digitization and how it can help startups scale, sustain and profit.
The networking session saw speakers interacting with the audience in an open and honest way, as they helped the audience in learning how to tailor their business ideas through the use of digital platforms and tools.
Day 2 of this year’s Young Achievers Summit, climaxed with 2 insightful Masterclasses from Mrs. Mimi Andani-Michaels (CEO, imentor-U; COO, NMJ Ghana) on Using Social Media to Promote Sales in Your Business and Futurist Kwame A.A. Opoku on The Future of Money and Work.
The YAS Awards Session put the cherry on this year’s wonderful event as inspiring business leaders like: Nana Appiah Mensah (Zylofon Ghana), Richie Mensah (Lynx Entertainment) and Laud Anthony Basing (INCAS Diagnostics) were honored for their outstanding contributions to work in their various industries.
The event also saw Mark Haunts sweeping the Male Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2018; Abena Asiedua sweeping the Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2018; while the two coveted Emerging Brand of the Year Award and Overall Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2018 were won by Fear No Man Clothing and Kulaperry Outlook respectively.
