Renowned gospel musician, Elder Emmanuel Kwasi Mireku who recently launched four decades in ministry has shared a sad and past time struggling to make it in life.

The worship leader, whose ministry began in the late 1970s, has earned much respect for his selfless contribution to the propagation of the Christian faith.

But in a video during his performance at an event, Elder Mireku disclosed how he contemplated suicide after his dream to be educated dashed out.

According to him, his only brother who had the opportunity to travel to Spain and married there died without helping him.

“I’ve really suffered. The family I grew up in was bad… Nobody in the family regarded education so no one wants to invest in us. At a point I almost considered suicide because I didn’t have anyone to help me continue my education to a technical school after Form 4.” Emotional Elder Mireku lamented.
