Father of the late Ebony Reigns, Mr. Opoku Kwarteng said that he desires to see more young ladies dress like his daughter.
Ebony Reigns whose death occurred on February 8th last year was a dancehall artist who managed to carve not only a big name for herself but also created her own kind of brand which had a lot of influence on most of the young people especially the ladies while she was alive.
The Singer was popularly known for her love for dreadlocks, piercings and tattoos, but most importantly, going braless in almost every dress she wore on and off stage.
It is, therefore, no surprise that her father has called for young ladies who are interested in following in the footsteps of the dancehall queen to continue to keep her name alive by dressing as she did.
“It will be interesting to see these girls dress like the queen because she had a lot of antics” Mr. Kwarteng said on Zylofon FM
Buttressing his point, the father of the late star described his daughter’s way of dressing as very ‘open’ and confirmed its provocative nature.
Ebony’s father said; “Young ladies should dress like the queen. For me, I will like to see you dress like that queen even though you might not look like her. It is so enticing.”
He also made known that all his daughters’ clothes are intact and have been kept exactly the way she left.
“Once upon a time who knows? We are going to be auctioning certain things that are there” Implied Mr. Nana Opoku Kwarteng.
Opening up a perfect opportunity for his daughter’s memory to live on, Mr. Kwarteng has directly given the go-ahead to all ladies who will be attending the three-day memorial celebration in honour of her demise especially on the 30th of this month to ‘feel free’ and emulate the late star’s way of dressing.
“I will love to see a lot of girls dress in her manner in memory. They should keep dressing in the girl’s way so the name Ebony shall always be there.”
