Workers of the Kotoka International Airport are set to embark on a demonstration tomorrow against  the supposed privatisation of the facility.

This is despite Aviation Minister Kofi Adda’s denial of reports that the government plans to privatise airports in the country.

A release sighted by this website asked workers to converge at the Aviation Center at 12 pm for the protest.

TAV Airport Holding Company Limited per a  cabinet memo in possession of Kasapafmonline.com will be in charge of the “day to day operations, including facility maintenance and fees collections.”

The aim of the proposal, according to the leaked cabinet document, is “to help bring about physical development of the airport enclave and transform the KIA into a world class airport with improved managerial efficiency.”
