A jubilant final year student of the Akwatia Technical Institute, Atiko Danso Herbert died in a bizarre manner while watching the UEFA Champions League semi-final clash between Liverpool and Barcelona Tuesday night.
According to reports, the student after Liverpool’s fourth goal that ensured their qualification to the finals of the competition burst in a jubilant mood and fell to the ground unconsciously.
The Administrator of the Institute, Michael Okyere in an interview on Kasapa FM said the deceased’s friends around are said to have poured water on him in an attempt to revive him, but realized his breath was seizing hence rushed him to the St. Dominic’s Hospital.
Unfortunately, Atiko Danso Herbert was pronounced dead on arrival. What caused his death is yet to be known.
The deceased was due to complete school on 17th May 2019.
