Kasapa FM has hit the streets with a major commercial transport activation.
The exercise, which includes the paying of transports fares for commuters, as well as sharing of the station’s stickers and T-Shirts, has seen the team pay unannounced visits to lorry parks in and around the Accra metropolis.
Some of the parks visited include the Achimota New Lorry Station, Lapaz Main Station, Madina Main station, Kaneshie Main Station, and the 37 Main Lorry Park.
Other parks include the Accra-Tudu Station, Circle Overhead Station, and Main Station as well as the Tema Station in the Central Business District of Accra.
Some more lorry parks will be visited by the team in the coming days. The exercise, station officials say is to give back to its gradually growing constituency of listeners.
Kasapa 102. 3 FM started full commercial broadcast on May 13 but has already become an on-air favourite for most people in the Capital.
The station has celebrated broadcaster, Fiifi Banson, as its Morning Show host. Comedian/Presenter, Afia Schwazeneggar, hosts the midmorning show. Other presenters include Gideon Okyere Anim, Tony Adams Adjei, and Agyenim Boateng.
Kasapa FM is owned by EIB Network, the same company that operates Starr FM, and Live FM in Accra, Empire FM in Takoradi, Ultimate FM in Kumasi, Cool FM (Cape Coast), HI FM (Koforidua), as well as the Daily Heritage newspaper.
