A key contender in the Tema East NDC parliamentary primary race, Edward Nii Tetteh Bediako Kraku has blamed the Party’s Regional Chairman for the NDC’s hard luck in the parliamentary elections within the enclave.
He accused Mr Ade Coker, of always playing games with Tema East, the very reason why the NDC parliamentary candidates put up for contests have not been favoured for the seat in the general elections for a long time.
“I want to tell Ade Coker to focus on his Region; he should leave Tema East alone. He’s the one causing problems in Tema East that we can’t win the seat,” he told Starr FM’s Regina Borley Bortey in an interview during polls Saturday.
Nii Tetteh Bediako Kraku was irked by the last minute change of voting centre from St. Alban Anglican Church to NAFAC centre and vented his spleen at Ade Coker for allegedly meddling in the polls.
Nonetheless he’s willing to respect the choice of the voters at the end of the polls today.
“I have already put up my grievances so when I don’t win I go. If the masses want my opponent so be it.” he stated.
But Ade Coker reacting to this has denied any machinations in that decision insisting “if you have done your homework, no amount of Juju or whatever will destruct you from winning the elections”
Edward Nii Tetteh Bediako Kraku is locking horns with former Metropolitan Chief Executive, Isaac Ashai Odamtten, who has been described by many as the best foot forward for the main opposition NDC in the Tema East constituency.
