Award-winning Entertainment Talkshow host, Kojo Preko Dankwa has paid tribute to the Late DJ Seihor.
He described his talent as unique and different from other radio DJs.
The Host of Kasapa Entertainment/Starr Zoo narrated how the young champ personally walked into his former office at Kasapa Fm at Adabraka and told him to give him the chance to exhibit his God-given djing skills.
Kojo Preko Dankwa who is also the Programs Manager of Kasapa Fm said he decided to give Seihor the opportunity to also show his Dj prowess.
“I remember when this young man walked to me at the office (Kasapa FM) then Adabraka and said “boss please I am a DJ and I want to play for Kasapa FM. Please give me the chance “Even though we have DJs (Rhapsody, Last Kobo, Duker, Nyaame etc), I decided to pick him and give him space to thrive. I saw the energy and I realized one unique talent he had that as a programmer I can take. He was a street, event, pub DJ. Their unique talents are quite different from radio DJs. They know what the people want, knows the trend of the grassroots (populace) the very radio station is targeting. We planned so many things together; from branding, events and even spoke about managing him and his rounds. We ate together, went for EIB events with him as well. Most recent was Odwira Festival. I remember one we did that my boss and big brother Bola Ray was shocked to see the energy in him (Odiwra Akropong). He continued to build his DJ CV by playing at S-concert which is one of the biggest events of all times. Just last week Wednesday, he was with me in my office to talk about DJ Awards, artworks, showed me the battle of the night and promised me he is going to beat his counterpart. Yes, he won. I knew he would. 4am this morning I heard of his accident and sudden death. My DJ SEIHOR God knows, he sees everything and whatever happens, we live it for Him. I love you SEIHOR.” Kojo narrated
He died after he was involved in a motor accident. The incident is said to have happened on the Madina-Adentan road in the early hours of Monday, November 4.
DJ Seihor won the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards ‘Battle of our Time’ after beating DJ Skinny.
DJ Seihor also performed at the Ghana DJ Awards ‘Beach Party In Ghana’.
Before his unfortunate demise, Seihor worked with Kasapa FM and was occasionally the DJ on Starr Chat, hosted by Bola Ray, on Starr 103.5FM each Wednesday.
