The Vice-President, Mr Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, is to leave Accra for South Africa, to attend the World Economic Forum on Africa.
The 25th edition of the event is being held in Cape Town under the theme “Then and now: Re-imagining Africa’s future.”
The three-day gathering will bring together global leaders of repute. Speakers will include former Ghanaian UN boss Kofi Annan, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, IMF boss, Christine Largarde, Guinean President, Alpha Conde; and the President of the European Commission, Mr José Manuel Durão Barroso.
Mr Amissah-Arthur is expected to participate in a workshop on the theme, “Digital transformation: The future of business in the digital age.” He would also take part in a session on the topic “Promoting financial inclusion in Africa.”
